Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Busser to join our restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean dining environment, and supporting the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude to ensure guests enjoy their visit. Prior experience in food service or restaurant operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Clear tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers with food delivery and refilling beverages as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and service stations
- Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments throughout the shift
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures in all tasks
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or setup when necessary
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and courteous service
- Uphold cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols
- Hospitality-oriented attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
- Team player with a positive, professional demeanor
- Previous experience in hotel or food industry settings is a plus but not mandatory
