Role Overview
Carget Auto Group is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a smooth, informed, and high-quality repair experience. You’ll provide expert advice, manage service requests, and support the technician team to deliver best-in-class service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess vehicle issues by listening to concerns and documenting symptoms
- Accurately communicate vehicle problems to technicians and ensure clear repair orders
- Verify warranty, insurance, or service contract coverage
- Provide cost estimates for service and repairs
- Explain maintenance and repair recommendations in clear, simple terms
- Coordinate with technicians and service managers for timely and effective service delivery
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Ensure a seamless and professional customer experience from drop-off to pick-up
- Assist in scheduling service appointments and managing workflow in the service department
- Handle inquiries, concerns, and follow-ups with a customer-first attitude
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in customer service (automotive experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—verbal and written
- Comfortable with computers, point-of-sale systems, and digital service tools
- Able to lift up to 25–30 lbs (occasionally handling parts/equipment)
- Highly organized with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
