Toyota Tsusho Canada, Inc. (TTCI) located in Cambridge and Woodstock has an immediate opening for a full-time opportunity for the position of IT Specialist.
This position would be responsible for the following (non-inclusive) duties:
IT Specialist / Desktop Support:
- Troubleshooting multiple business software applications and interfaces in multi-platform environment.
- Troubleshooting, setting up and managing Wireless Devices (iPhone, Scan Guns).
- Troubleshooting, installing and configuring PC hardware and peripherals
- Ensuring customer computer connectivity issues across a WAN are closed in a timely manner
- Configuring and ongoing troubleshooting of local and network printers
- PC imaging using Ghost
- Setting up and maintaining Active Directory User and Computer Accounts
- Provide assistance to business units to address efficiency improvements for processing daily information.
- Organize and/or coordinate IT related projects as per company policy
IT Hardware Support:
- Install, configure, maintain, repair, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Monitor computer systems and networks for issues, perform regular backups, and implement security measures
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime and improve employee productivity
- Set up new user accounts, manage access permissions, and provide training on software and hardware usage
- Maintain records of fixes and support issues, track asset inventory, and document procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Apple IOS.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with computer hardware and various software applications.
- Basic understanding of network administration and troubleshooting connectivity problems.
- Ability to diagnose problems, identify the root cause, and implement logical solutions.
- Organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple support tickets simultaneously.
- Completion of a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Prior experience in customer support or help desk role is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
