Join our team as a Sales Manager and be part of a dynamic and growing organization in the Steel Industry . As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and leading a team of sales professionals.
You will report directly and are fully accountable to the President. All sales representatives will report directly to you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets through proactive sales strategies
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to drive business growth and market penetration
- Identify new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team to foster a high-performance culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and enhance customer experience
Requirements:
- Any education/certifications in Business Administration or related field
- B2B sales experience an asset
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in Steel Industry (Manufacturing)
- Basic knowledge of the steel market and marketing to the end users in the industry
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Excellent negotiation, business development, and account management skills
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, customer service, and technology sales
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on coaching and developing sales talent
- Proficiency Microsoft Office 365 tools and other relevant sales tools
- Experience with AutoCAD an asset
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively and build rapport with clients
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for driving business growth
- Outgoing personality who is comfortable meeting new people and being in unfamiliar situations and able to invoke enthusiasm and trustworthiness through voice
