Simard Transport offers a dynamic, family-oriented workplace with strong long-term career opportunities. We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to manage client orders and collaborate with the Operations team to ensure exceptional customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipments across Greater Vancouver and Canada, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking.
- Manage customer orders from start to finish, including order entry, tracking, arranging returns, securing Proof of Delivery, and preparing invoices
- Serve as the main contact for your assigned customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships
- Monitor and manage the CSR email inbox, addressing requests and following up on discrepancies between waybills and purchase orders
- Maintain organized and up-to-date customer records in our warehouse and transportation systems (WMS/TMS)
- Arrange domestic and international freight, including LTL shipments, imports, and exports, to meet delivery schedules and compliance requirements
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in multi client warehouse environment (Asset)
- Experience in Transport/Logistics industry
- Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office: Excel & Word
- Container trucking experience (Preferred)
- CBSA sufferance warehouse experience (Asset)
