We’re looking for a part-time Studio Manager for a 3–6 month contract, with the possibility of extending.
25–35 hours per week
Compensation: $25/hour
In person — Leslieville, Toronto
Preference will be given to folks based in Toronto’s East End, as proximity to the studio is a significant asset. Some in-person responsibilities may require being on site for relatively short periods of time.
The role is split between managing the day-to-day operations of our film and photography rental studios and helping market the spaces.
Studio Operations — approximately 20–25 hours/week
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the studio, including:
- Coordinating hourly and daily studio rentals with clients
- Responding to booking inquiries by email and social media
- Managing the studio calendar and online payment systems
- Daytime cleaning and resets of the studios between rentals
- Scheduling evening turnovers with our evening cleaning team
- Handling small studio maintenance projects such as hanging shelves, painting and general upkeep
Marketing — approximately 5–10 hours/week
You’ll also help keep the studio active and visible online, including:
- Marketing the studio on Meta platforms
- Reposting and sharing work created in the studios
- Creating original social content for the studio
- Boosting posts and assisting with simple paid social promotion
We’re looking for someone who is organized, self-directed, comfortable communicating with clients, and happy working in a hands-on studio environment.
Experience in film, photography, production, studio rentals or social media is an asset, but the right combination of organization, reliability and good judgment is more important.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
