Shipper/Receiver for one of their manufacturing clients in
Elora, ON. Our client is looking for candidates who are willing to learn, work well in a team and independently, and are always up for a challenge!
Shipper/Receiver Responsibilities
- Assemble and verify outgoing orders, prepare shipping documents, inspect incoming goods, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Notify quality personnel for inspections and provide required paperwork for audits and maintenance records.
- Safely move materials to designated areas post-inspection and ensure proper placement of all incoming items.
- track, organize, and reconcile inventory; perform and report daily cycle counts.
- Maintain neat, accurate paperwork and immediately report any discrepancies or damages.
- Operate equipment safely, keep the floor/yard organized, and follow trailer docking and loading protocols.
Shipper/Receiver Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, walkies, and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with preparing shipping documents, verifying incoming/outgoing goods, and performing inventory cycle counts.
- Accuracy in order assembly, documentation, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.
Employment Details:
Shift: Friday-Sunday 4:45am-5pm
Pay: $23.50/hr
