Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming techniques and products.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with grooming services.
- Handle heavy lifting when managing larger pets or moving equipment as necessary.
- Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best care for pets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
