Job purpose:
The main responsibility of the JDE Developer/Analyst Finance is to define, analyze, develop, implement, document and support Finance management systems and related ancillary ERP Systems for Canada, PRUSA and PR Travel Retail.

Main roles and responsibilities:
Technical Development

Performs application programming activities related to developing, modifying, installing and maintaining application programs and databases
Provides technical support to ERP team members
Complies with documentation, change management and security standards.
Provides technical training to users and IT as needed.

Analyzes processes in Finance
Defines requirements for customization, interfaces and data conversions
Understands mapping, links and interfaces with other systems
Defines, designs and generates technical system/program specifications to meet user requirements
Conducts system/unit testing and coordinates systems implementation
Defines new reporting requirements, develops appropriate specifications, and uses appropriate tools to meet business requirements
Documents systems to comply with IT standards.
Systems Support & Help-Desk

Supports Finance system users at all sites
Uses help desk tools to keep track of Finance Help Desk calls and resolution.
Works with users to develop / enhance processes to improve user productivity

Works with peers, IT, business community, and external partners

Profile required :
Education required : Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related equivalent. Experience / Background :
Minimum 5 years including developing, configuring, implementing, modifying application software to Support JDE Edwards (9.1 or above) ERP Finance processes and other applications.
JD Edwards programming – Batch / Interactive event rules programming using Object Management Workbench. (OMW; JDE query tools, FDA, RDA, NER, SQL)
Deep application experience with JDE E1 Finance functional areas and databases is desirable
Experience with Bottom Line Technologies Create forms development is desirable.
Strong “hands-on” programming and report writing skills (experience with OBI, Hubble is desirable)
Experience designing, implementing and maintaining interfaces from and to external systems
Strong system analysis/design and implementation experience
Experience developing and documenting system requirements, functional / technical specifications
System development life cycle knowledge
First class communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Language required : Fluent in English
