Our drivers represent Ken Johnson Trucking Ltd. and are responsible to meet the rules and regulations set out by Transport Canada and the National Safety Code in a manner that incorporates all policies and procedures provided by the company, to properly complete an error free delivery on behalf of our customers. Ken Johnson drivers operate under the Federal Hours of Service.

Qualifications:
- Class 1 License with air brake endorsement
- Must have a clean commercial driver’s abstract
- Knowledge of industry regulated Safety practices and principles
- Liquid, chemical and/or lube experience is an asset
- WHMIS
- Must possess a Free and Secure Trade (F.A.S.T.) card or be able to meet the requirements to obtain this. As a condition of continued employment, a driver must also maintain the F.A.S.T. card in good standing
- Must be able to meet the requirements to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.)
- All driver's are members of Teamster No.31 or eligible for membership
- Must be bondable
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that driver pre and post trip inspections are completed fully and all necessary equipment is in place and operating before leaving the facility
- Ensure that the E.L.D. is operating and hours of service are correct
- Ensure that all appropriate paper work is in place (B.O.L., M.S.D.S., etc.), commercial licensing and training are current including Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
- Operate a commercial vehicle on the highway in a safe and professional manner while complying with all applicable laws and regulations and company policies
- Operating pumps and air compressors, hooking up hose and fittings to safely handle and transfer products for customers
Additional Information:
- Perform all other duties as assigned
