Position: Senior Technical Architect

Background: Our Federal Government client has launched several programs and projects related to its departmental mandate for rationalization, standardization, and consolidation of email, data centre, and telecommunications infrastructure. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Architect to complement its current program and project staff to support the planning and execution of these programs and projects.
Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of ten (10) years cumulative experience as an Technical Architect or Advisor
· Must have a minimum of ten (10) years providing developing technical architectures, frameworks and strategies to meet business and application requirements.
· Must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience reviewing computer software systems and data requirements.
· Must have experience in design, deployment and configuration of highly available Kubernetes clusters
· Must have hands on experience to architect and provision persistent cluster storage layer
· Must have experience in creating and managing API users and groups, including configuring credentials
· Must have experience in controlling and monitoring access to clusters, including credentials, tokens, and SSO integration
Responsibilities:
· Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, either for an organization or for a major application area, to meet the business and application requirements
· Identify policies and requirements that drive out a particular solution
· Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business problems
· Ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions
· Evaluate hardware and software relative to their ability to support specified requirements and, by determining potential and actual bottlenecks, and improve system performance through recommended hardware changes
· Review computer software systems and data requirements as well as communication and response needs and determine operating systems and languages needed to support them
· Communicate with project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users on administrative matters related to the project
· Monitor cluster usage and analyze alerts, traffic, and integration errors
· Configure and manage cluster monitoring and logging
· Enable log aggregation across the cluster
· Deliver operational cluster documentation
· Implement customer portals

Salary: $750.00-$900.00 per day
