We’re currently working on a search for a Production Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing company in the Halifax, NS area.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be leading a production team day-to-day, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure quality, safety, and delivery targets are consistently met.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supporting a production team on the floor
- Making sure daily targets, schedules, and quality standards are met
- Helping troubleshoot issues and keep production moving
- Working closely with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Coaching and developing team members
- Tracking production performance and reporting on key metrics
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in a production lead or supervisory role
- Experience in manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, or similar environment is a strong asset)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid problem-solving ability and hands-on approach
- Exposure to Lean / continuous improvement is a plus
Nice to have
- Electro-mechanical or technical assembly experience
- ERP/MRP system exposure
- Lean Six Sigma training
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments
