Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a strong mechanical background, electrical experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. The Millwright will play a vital role in supporting our customers through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Candidates with experience in industrial electrician work, HVAC systems, welding, boiler operation, and low voltage systems are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Install, align, and assemble machinery using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial equipment to prevent downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues efficiently
- Repair or replace defective components such as belts, gears, bearings, motors, and wiring
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems and HVAC units as needed
- Conduct welding repairs or modifications on machinery or structural components
- Analyse equipment performance data to identify potential issues before failures occur
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with welding, HVAC systems, boilers, and electrical troubleshooting is preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues
- Good communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices, mechanical systems, and safety protocols is essential
