Home Vision Contracting is a small residential and commercial remodeling contracting business operation in B.C.’s Lower Mainland. From concept to completion, we create beautiful renovations, tailored to the client’s needs, with an emphasis on high-quality and reliable customer care. Established in 2024, Home Vision is helmed by Richard Sales, who has 20 years experience in the remodeling space.
Job Overview
We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades handyman/skilled labourer to tackle a variety of home renovation and remodel tasks, including site protection, clean-up, installations, various trades and installs, project material pick-up and drop-off, assorted odd jobs, one-on-one troubleshooting, and communicating actively with/assisting trades, clients, and the Home Vision Team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the position prominently include (but are not limited to):
- Carpentry and construction;
- Site demolition and disposal of materials;
- Tile installation;
- Appliance installation; and
- General framing and drywall.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of construction practices, as well as relevant qualifications including but not limited to:
- Experience and familiarity with materials, protocols, and terms of industry;
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation;
- Knowledge of finishing, carpentry, flooring installation, caulking, and restoration; and
- A valid class 5 driver’s licence.
Bonus skills and experience include:
- Experience with framing and drywall; and
- Experience with contracting customer relations management platforms (Contractor Foreman, BuilderTrend, etc.).
