LPS is currently seeking a FULL TIME applicant in Napanee, Ontario. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong knowledge in the Criminal Code of Canada, Citizens Powers of Arrest, and Trespass to Property Act and have a security-orientated education
Specific Expectations - Steel Toe Boots may be a requirement of employment (not provided)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide security to people and property
- Follow proper procedures and protocols
- Write extensive incident reports while utilizing knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Citizens Powers of Arrest
- Professionally represent Loss Prevention Services at all times
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- High school Diploma (preference will be given to Police Foundations/Law & Security graduates)
- Cell phone with a data plan
- Ability to work on weekends
- Ability to work 32 hours or more
- Physically fit to walk for extended periods of time
- High degree of honesty & integrity
- A reliable vehicle is an asset
Compensation:
- Entry level position: $17.50-$19.00 per hour based on experience and education
