The right candidate shall:
Be able to train for position at our Leduc shop, in August and be on location out of town in September.
Be knowledgeable with industrial, mechanical or construction tools and equipment.
Be technically skilled, proficient in computerized inventory systems (eg. MS Excel)
Be physically able to perform tasks while standing, walking and lifting.
Have previous experience in a warehouse, tool room or inventory control role is considered an asset.
Be eager and willing to learn
Show ability to listen, follow direction and have high attention to detail

Key responsibilities:
Manage inventory, maintaining accurate records of all tools and equipment, perform regular inventory checks/counts, and order replenishments when necessary
Distribute tools, issue, receive and track tools using computerized or manual systems to ensure accountability
Inspect tools upon return for damage or safety issues, perform basic maintenance, and remove, repair, or replace, unsafe/unserviceable tools
Organize the tool crib for efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with safety regulations
Coordinate with purchasing for new inventory and assist production teams by locating necessary equipment
