VGC International College in downtown Vancouver is currently looking for a sessional business instructor for our business diploma program.
The business diploma covers areas such as, but not limited to: business plans, feasibility analysis, funding, SWOT analysis, customer service, organizational behavior, talent management, mission & vision, sales, business communication, and leadership.
Classes are Monday to Friday, 8:45 - 1:50
The successful candidate must be able to work with an established curriculum to deliver specified learning outcomes within the time frame given.
Please note, only candidates currently in Vancouver will be considered as both interviews and classes will be conducted on campus.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master degree in business or related areas
- At least 1 year of prior teaching experience
- 3 or more years of relevant work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong people skills
- Capable of teaching international students from various nationalities
- Capable of conducting a structured, yet engaging class
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work independently
- Team player
Compensation: Based on experience
- Preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Canadian PR applicants. Applicants must be entitled to work in Canada.
