The Marketing Student supports Centurion Canada’s business development and marketing initiatives by assisting with content creation, brand management, digital communications, event coordination, and market research. This role provides hands-on exposure to marketing strategy and execution while supporting the promotion of Centurion’s services across multiple business lines.
This is an 8 or 12-month student position.
Core Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and maintaining marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, advertisements, and promotional content.

Support social media management, including content scheduling, engagement monitoring, and performance tracking.

Help maintain and update company websites, internal communication platforms, and marketing databases.

Assist in preparing internal and external communications, newsletters, announcements, and promotional campaigns.

Coordinate logistics for trade shows, conferences, community events, and client-facing activities.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business development strategies.

Gather and organize photos, videos, and project highlights for marketing use.

Support brand consistency across all company communications and materials.

Track and report on marketing initiatives, campaign engagement, and key performance indicators.

Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership teams to identify opportunities to promote services and success stories.

Perform general administrative support related to marketing and business development activities.
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Strong written communication and editing skills.

Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is considered an asset.

Photography, videography, or content creation experience is considered an asset.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset.
