Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Nondestructive Testing Level 2 Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on various aviation components specifically Helicopter transmission and and Rolls Royce engine parts. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years experience and is willing and able to work independently.
Duties
- Conduct high quality inspection LPI and MPI work processes, as outlined in Company Policy and per CGSB and Transport Canada Standards.
- Cooperatively work with the Production Manager and other technicians to perform safe and quality rework.
- Maintain and perform required checks on all NDT equipment.
- Communicate with Administration Manager for equipment maintenance requirements and disposables inventory.
- Perform work in accordance with documented requirements.
- Complete all applicable records.
Qualifications
Certification to a minimum of Level 2 according to Canadian General Standards Board Standard CAN/CGSB-48.9712.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the applicable LPI and MPI - NDT technique.
- Successful eye examination once per year.
- Ability to use calibrated tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret repair data and drawings.
- Understanding of metallurgy

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
