The opportunity

The HR Automation & Analytics Centre of Expertise support in the transformation of how we deliver services. The HR Automation Delivery team is the foundation for advancing the movement from a people-based model to a technology-based model within the HR CoE (Centre of Excellence). The HR Automation Delivery team specializes in leveraging technology such as ServiceNow (including the Employee Service Centre), Robotics Process Automation (RPA), and MS Office to enable this transformation. The HR Talent Analytics team, in collaboration with the BES (Business Enablement Services) Enterprise Analytics and HR Technology teams, is responsible for providing proactive and actionable talent-related insights that will lead to better talent decisions and, ultimately, better talent and business outcomes.

What you will do:
Business Analysis & Change Management:
Translate requirements for HR Service Managers/SMEs and the technical (Automation and Analytics) team.
Liaise with ITS teams (including HR Technology, Robotics Processing Automation (RPA), Enterprise Analytics and ServiceNow) to support on automation operational changes and enhancements.
Provide presentation support to project teams for HR Automation and Analytics work.
Identify process improvements and implement best practices (considering scope of project, business needs, performance, policies, alignment to business and employee future needs).
Applying change management methodologies, design and develop leading practice, high value strategies and communications and training plans to manage and support stakeholders impacted by change.
Define, identify, assess and monitor risks, and develop risk mitigation plans to address potential concerns, resistance and impacts to project progress and success.
Identify key stakeholders and create stakeholder engagement plans to identify different types of stakeholders and their impact to the project. Leverage the stakeholder engagement plan and stakeholder impact analysis to enable successful change adoption and sustainment.

Business Requirements Documentation:
Work directly with HR Automation & Analytics Director and Managers on the HR Automation and Analytics team to drive business process documentation and design for new and operational projects.
Assist in creating requirements documentation, develop initial outlines of process workflow and maintenance of any operational updates.
Establishes and maintains an effective system for maintaining business requirement documentation, working with HR Service Managers to keep the documentation up to date using version control.
Sets up and maintains business requirements documentation files, network structures, Teams Channels to ensure that documentation are readily available to the team.
Understand and map current and target future state business processes and employee journeys across technology ecosystems to support HR service and delivery transformation.

Testing & Implementation:
Support the HR Automation and Analytics Managers with the creation of test/QA plans for the HR Service Managers/SMEs to test for new and operational development and bi-annual ServiceNow system upgrades.
Participate in testing completion of automation and technology operational and enhancement initiatives (ex. RPA, ServiceNow release updates/operational enhancements/application implementation, etc.)

What you bring to this role:
College or University degree
1-2 years of Business Analysis experience or a suitable combination of education and training.
Contributes to process and operational improvements and manage related change management activities.
Knowledge and experience related to process documentation design, process mapping, and presentation of workflow processes.
Perform well under pressure and demonstrate adaptability in managing unexpected situations
Demonstrate strong relationship building skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio).
Knowledge of case management technology preferred.
Experience with JavaScript, SQL, ServiceNow.
Intellectual curiosity, analytical acumen, strong problem-solving skills.
Bilingualism in English and French
