About Wild North Flowers
Wild North Flowers is a floral studio based in downtown Toronto. For the past ten years, we've been creating artful floral experiences while fostering a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming workplace.We're a small private floral studio rather than a retail flower shop, which means our team focuses on exceptional customer service, seamless order management, and beautiful floral arrangements without the demands of face-to-face retail sales.We are currently looking to hire a Client Relations Manager & Flower Buyer to join our team long-term. This role is ideal for someone who likes to wear multiple hats! You would be balancing customer service, administration, logistics, and flower purchasing.
About the Role
As our Client Relations Manager & Flower Buyer, you will be the primary point of contact for customers while also overseeing flower purchasing for the studio. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.The ideal candidate will move between customer communication, order management, delivery coordination, and flower procurement, helping ensure that every order runs smoothly from inquiry to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries primarily via email (sometimes via phone)
- Take and process floral orders
- Provide quotes for our À La Carte & Event floral offerings
- Manage multiple email inboxes and customer communications
- Coordinate delivery schedules with our courier partners
- Confirm delivery details and troubleshoot delivery issues
- Track order totals using spreadsheets and internal systems
- Handwrite personalized card messages for customer orders
- Wrapping daily deliveries
- Purchase flowers from wholesale suppliers
- Monitor flower availability/requests for À La Carte and Event flower orders
- Develop and improve administrative processes and workflows
- Provide general administrative support and problem-solving as needed

QualificationsRequired
- Post-secondary education
- Minimum two years of administrative or client service experience with a demonstrated track record of success
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work on-site at our downtown Toronto studio
- Availability during peak floral holidays, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day periods (non-negotiable)
Preferred
- Previous experience in the floral, event, or creative industries
- Knowledge of flowers and floral products
- Experience in purchasing flowers through wholesale suppliers (Ontario Flower Growers, Can-Mex etc)
