DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edits patient menus for accuracy according to diet plan.
- Updates CBORD with patient's admissions, transfers, discharges, diet changes and nutritional changes.
- Collects and records required nutritional data form various sources i.e. chart, staff, patient, etc.
- Performs nutritional screening on patients as assigned by Dietitian.
- Visits patients to provide nutritional education and follow-up care.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an undergraduate degree or diploma in Food and Nutrition, preferable with clinical nutritional experience.
- Must be a member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.
- Must have working knowledge of computers (CBORD).
- Must be able to work alternate weekends.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Nutrition Technician.
- Excellent attendance record.
HOURS: Must be able to workWeekdays: 6:00am-2:00pm and 11:30am-7:30pm; and Weekend/holidays: 6:00am-2:00pm and 12:00pm-7:30pm. Shifts are subject to change based on departmental needs.
