Kinder Kuts Milton is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Hair Stylists to join our growing team! We specialize in creating positive, stress-free haircut experiences for children of all ages. Responsibilities
- Provide haircuts and basic styling services for children in a safe and professional manner.
- Create a welcoming, fun, and positive experience for every child and family.
- Build trust and rapport with children, including those who may be nervous or sensitive to haircuts.
- Communicate clearly and kindly with parents and caregivers regarding styles and services.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and common areas according to health and safety standards.
- Assist in keeping the salon organized and running smoothly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle challenging situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Hairstylist Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal endorsement considered an asset), as required to legally practice in Ontario.
- Previous experience as a hairstylist; experience providing children’s haircuts is considered an asset.
- Confidence performing a variety of haircut styles and techniques.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, reliable, and adaptable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for working with children and families.
