Sip Happens Wine Tours is hiring a rock star guests experiences/marketing coordinator to not only help create an amazing experience for our guests, but also is able to help grow and market to new prospects. We are looking for a very detailed, smart, creative, independent, organized, tech and social media savvy individual to work in a fast paced environment to help grow our company to the next level.
You will be working alongside the owners and guest experiences manager coordinating wine tours, answering phones, emails, chats, making itineraries, booking restaurants for current guests. On the sales and marketing side, you will be responsible for coming up with promotions, and other ideas and partnering with hotels and key stake holders, and marketing via social media (on all platforms) as well as traditional marketing to current customers and future prospects and maintain CRMS accordingly.
This job is 4 days a week, Friday-Monday 9am-5:00pm during our high season; however during our low season it will be casual.
Looking for candidates in the Kelowna, Lake Country or Vernon B.C. area only. This job is remote work from home.
Applicants must have the following skills
· Tech and Social Media Skills is a Must. Laptop, Internet and cell phone to be able full-fill remote position
· Administration experience: Online Booking Systems, Email & Text Marketing, CRMS, Word, basic Excel, and .pdf are a must – other Microsoft office programs are a plus, but not necessary
· Customer Service experience a must
· Comfortable on phone and responding to inquiries over email
· Fantastic sales & marketing ability in order to secure new business
· Ability to work independently and manage time
· Quick learner, ability to think outside the box, quick decision making
· Knowledge of the Okanagan Wine Regions especially West Kelowna, East Kelowna, Lake Country, Naramata Bench, Okanagan Falls, Summerland, Okanagan Falls and Osoyoos/Oliver
· Experience with scheduling preferred (itineraries)
· Internet savvy, able to make changes to wordpress websites
- Adwords, On Page & Off Page SEO
- Ability to write blogs and other articles
· Knowledge of Wordpress websites, social media (Facebook/Meta business suite and Instagram as well as Google My Business, Tik Tok etc.), and Canva preferred
· Experience with any online booking program (IE: Checkfront**, Bookeo, etc) preferred but not necessary
· Event planning experience preferred but not necessary
· Experience with Google My Business (or other online map program)
· Enjoys wine, especially Okanagan preferred – but not necessary
