Qualifications – Northern Ontario Healthcare Facility
- Active CNO registration (RN)
- Minimum 5 years of acute care experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3 month assignment + possibility of extension
- Accommodations: Provided (shared)

Responsibilities:
Registered Nurses are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Conduct patient assessments and administer care/treatments
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Note: Duties may vary based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience:
- 5 years of relevant Canadian acute care experience (required)
- Familiarity with common EHR systems (e.g., Meditech or Epic) is an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in high-pressure situations
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and medication administration
- Compassion and empathy when supporting patients and families
