Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated casual, on call Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the developmental needs of young children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental stages of children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through caregiving and instructional strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing requirements
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
- Promote positive behavior management techniques to encourage respectful interactions among children
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is preferred
- Classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Flight Frame Work
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt activities for diverse learners
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
Pay: $17.50-$20.50 per hour
