Tire Technician Job Description
Overview
As a Tire Technician you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tires on a variety of vehicles. You'll work hands-on to ensure the safety and performance of our customers' tires while delivering top quality service.
Duties
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on cars, trucks, and light-duty vehicles
- Perform seasonal tire changeovers efficiently and safely
- Receive tire deliveries, verify accuracy and inspect for damage, mark tires with customer information
- Accurately label all customer tires immediately upon receipt or removal
- Store Customer Tires in designated storage areas according to shop procedures.
- Ensure all stored tires are clearly Identified to prevent loss or Mix-ups.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Assist other technicians and shop staff as required.
Skills
- Tire or automotive experience is an asses (willing to train)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
- Strong attention to detail
