Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical pharmacy experience, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your expertise in medication management, patient assessment, and medical management to improve health outcomes. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication therapy consultations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
Candidates should be familiar with PropelRx and Kroll Dispensing software
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately using pharmacy software
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy
- Provide expert consultation on medication administration, assess and prescribe medications.
- Manage inventory levels efficiently to ensure medication availability while minimizing waste
- Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and safety precautions
- Administer immunizations in accordance with medical guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- Participate in patient care initiatives
- Support pharmacy staff in daily operations and ensure accurate documentation of all activities
Skills
- Proven experience in pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems
- Experience administering vaccines
- Ability to perform patient service functions such as patient assessment and medication counseling
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Knowledge regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
