We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our clients. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi or commercial vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
- Greet passengers warmly, assist with boarding, and ensure their comfort throughout the ride
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for passengers and other road users
- Manage cash transactions accurately when handling fare payments
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage as required
- Plan routes efficiently to optimize time management and meet passenger expectations
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to passenger needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and relevant commercial driving certification if required
- Proven experience in driving, preferably in a taxi or similar transportation service
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual pickups and drop-offs
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic patterns is preferred
- Must pass background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed
