We are looking for a skilled and dependable Trailer Shop Mechanic with welding experience to join our growing team. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving mechanical problems, and have experience repairing and or fabricating trailers, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of trailers.
· Perform brake, suspension, axle, wheel bearing, electrical, and lighting repairs.
· Complete structural repairs and modifications using MIG and TIG welding.
· Fabricate and install trailer components as required.
· Inspect trailers to ensure they meet safety and roadworthiness standards.
· Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
· Experience as a trailer or heavy-duty mechanic.
· Strong MIG and TIG welding and fabrication skills.
· Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical drawings.
· Experience with trailer brake, suspension, and electrical systems.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver's license required (Class 1A or commercial license is an asset).
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
