Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated entry level industrial maintenance technician. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service.
Duties :
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and logic controllers.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify potential problems.
- Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities.
- Supervise maintenance projects, coordinating with other team members to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Leadership experience is a plus, particularly in supervising teams or projects.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
