Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating various types of heavy machinery to support gravel crushing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Prior experience with excavator operation, loader operation, and equipment servicing is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and skidsteer to perform site preparation, material movement and prep
- Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Support repair tasks related to equipment maintenance as needed
- Follow detailed work plans and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment around equipment and job sites
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or similar machinery
- Basic knowledge of repairs related to heavy equipment is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in industrial or construction settings
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid drivers license and vehicle to get to and from site
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
