A Beautiful Mind Psychology and Psychotherapy Clinic is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Psychometrist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, scoring, and assisting with the interpretation of a wide range of psychological assessments for clients across diverse populations.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychometrist who is passionate about psychological assessment and enjoys working collaboratively with psychologists. For candidates who are qualified to provide psychotherapy, there may also be opportunities to provide therapy services within the clinic.
We are seeking someone who is confident in administering a variety of psychological assessments, committed to maintaining high professional standards, and willing to mentor and train new staff members. The ideal candidate is available to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Administer a wide variety of standardized psychological assessments under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
- Administer cognitive, neuropsychological, personality, academic, adaptive, vocational, and psychological functioning assessments.
- Score, organize, and review psychological test results accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare assessment materials and ensure standardized testing procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with psychologists throughout the assessment process.
- Assist with report preparation, data organization, and other assessment-related administrative tasks.
- Ensure assessment procedures adhere to ethical, professional, and standardized testing guidelines.
- Build rapport with clients and provide a supportive, professional testing environment.
- Maintain testing materials, assessment supplies, and equipment.
- Train, mentor, and support new psychometrists and clinical staff in assessment administration and standardized testing procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide psychotherapy services, if qualified and interested, in accordance with professional standards and clinic needs.
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Psychometrist administering a variety of psychological assessments is required.
- Demonstrated experience with cognitive, neuropsychological, personality, academic, adaptive, vocational, and psychological functioning assessments is considered a strong asset.
- Experience writing or contributing to psychological assessment reports is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of standardized testing procedures and ethical assessment practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience preparing assessment documentation and maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or training staff is considered a strong asset.

Compensation
Compensation will be discussed with selected candidates during the interview process. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications, with opportunities for wage increases based on demonstrated experience, skills, and responsibilities.
Pay: $17.60-$50.00 per hour
