About the Role:

ACQBUILT is transforming how North America builds homes through advanced manufacturing. We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Floors Production Team. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment used to cut lumber, joists, and beams required for the production of residential floor systems. You'll also perform general production tasks while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC equipment, including loading job files, cutting stock lengths, and managing conveyors.
- Produce parts according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Read and interpret SEMA prints, blueprints, and shop drawings.
- Perform routine machine operation with minimal supervision.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Report equipment or production issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure required materials and supplies are available for production.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality control procedures, and workplace standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience and/or certification as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably in a millwork, cabinetry, manufacturing, or lumber environment.
- Experience using computers or tablets and the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and SEMA prints.
- Experience using hand, power, and pneumatic tools, including measuring tape, speed square, circular saw, reciprocating saw, drill, air gun, and nail gun.
- Knowledge of imperial and metric measurement systems.
- Residential construction knowledge is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit with the ability to perform repetitive lifting and standing throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and noise.
- Standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.
