What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and improving preventative maintenance for all regional assets (mobile and fixed assets) across Newfoundland operations, with specific responsibility for regulatory compliance and PM reporting system. You will manage maintenance staff and contractors in area of responsibility including training, delegation, supervision and direction of maintenance activities and schedules. Other duties will include:
Ensure that all maintenance activities in WO operations for area of responsibility are appropriately carried out
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintaining a cycle of the same; Maintain and improve the preventative maintenance program for all mechanical equipment that accommodates manufacturer’s suggested systems and parts checks on all facility equipment into the ongoing preventative maintenance schedule
Plan labour and material needs for designated maintenance and repair projects and handle all coordination of schedules to accomplish required tasks
Support the efforts of the CMMS standardization and implementation across all Newfoundland Wholly Owned operations
Monitor and report on PM and regulatory compliance across mobile fleet and plants Newfoundland Wholly Owned, including discipline for tracking of maintenance and asset spend
Develop and improve equipment maintenance procedures and ensure implementation across the region
Support AC&E efforts for on-going replacement analysis program for capital equipment based on work order and preventative maintenance histories, reliability performance and cost
As required, determine the need for outside contractors and assist in the preparation of bid specifications and the selection of contractors; serve as liaison with contractors and review work of contractors for conformity to standards
Provide technical support, analysis and documentation for the development and coordination of maintenance programs directed toward equipment reliability, safety and predictability
Work with equipment manufacturers as well as the DNA engineering team to resolve or escalate concerns for any practices/designs considered unsafe
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in maintenance planning, analysis, forecasting, administration and documentation; experience in work order management, parts management, preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance technologies
SAP experience preferred
CMMS experience required
Knowledge of control systems and electronics, from a maintenance perspective, is desired
Requires knowledge and experience with administering planned maintenance programs that meet regulatory standards for health and safety
Ability to administer all aspects of mobile assets and process equipment maintenance to ensure the timely completion of projects and support activities
Intermediate skill level utilizing computer software; Ability to learn and adapt to proprietary software utilized with process controllers
Knowledge of fixed and rotating equipment maintenance as well as mobile “over the road” fleet equipment
