The Opportunity
Leadbetter Foods is currently seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team;
The Industrial Millwright will oversee the maintenance and servicing of equipment utilized in daily production at the facility. Their role will involve ensuring safe plant operations and creating a secure working environment for all staff members.
We are currently looking for an individual to cover our Day Shift.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and drawings to determine work procedures and identify necessary parts.
- Troubleshoot repairs and install processing and packaging equipment, utilizing knowledge of electrical, utility, and facility systems for efficient repair and replacement.
- Perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Engage actively in the preventive maintenance program for building and processing equipment on a daily basis.
- Ensure efficient setup, inspection, and shutdown of production equipment, including managing process changeovers as needed.
- Assist in planning and organizing work activities, including drawing interpretation and parts preparation.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment along with power transmission, pump, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic system
Requirements:
- Valid Millwright License
- Familiarity with conveyors, high-speed slicers, pumps/compressors, and electrical/electronic controls
- Understanding of pipe fitting practices and steam piping systems
- Proficient in vacuum systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with contractors and other Reliability personnel
- Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned
