Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Property Coordinator to join our team in Burnaby. This role is vital in managing property operations, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of daily project activities, including short-term lookaheads and site logistics.
- Communicate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain alignment on project priorities and support smooth project execution..
- Support budget preparation, cost tracking, and basic financial reporting by monitoring cost codes, change impacts, and invoice status.
- Assist in property management activities, including leasing, maintenance scheduling, and record keeping.
- Monitor material deliveries, procurement activities, and equipment requirements, and follow up with vendors to help avoid project delays.
- Maintain organized filing systems and project documentations including contracts, RFIs, submittals, permits, site instructions, meeting minutes, and other project records.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in construction project management, property management, business administration .
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling software is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of building construction is an asset.
Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
