We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Finisher who takes pride in producing flawless finishes and understands that exceptional quality is built through consistency, attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet components and architectural millwork for finishing.
- Sand raw wood, primers and topcoats to premium standards.
- Mix and apply stains, sealers, primers, lacquers and conversion varnishes.
- Spray painted and stained finishes using professional spray equipment.
- Produce consistent colour and sheen across complete projects.
- Identify and correct finishing defects before products leave the department.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs when required.
- Maintain spray booths, spray equipment and finishing tools.
- Work with production staff to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe finishing department.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finishing processes and quality standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior finishers and finishing helpers.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional cabinet or architectural wood finishing experience.
- Strong understanding of wood preparation and finishing techniques.
- Experience with spray equipment and pressure-pot systems.
- Ability to colour match stains and paints.
- Excellent eye for detail and finish quality.
- Ability to read shop drawings and production documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A commitment to producing exceptional work every day.
Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:
- Waterborne finishing products
- Conversion varnish systems
- Catalyzed lacquer systems
- Fine furniture finishing
- Architectural millwork
- Custom cabinetry
