Summer Childcare – Whyte Avenue Area
- Location: Edmonton (Whyte Avenue Area)
- Hours: 35-45 hours per week (Typical window: 8:30 AM – 5:00/5:30 PM)

Position Overview
Our family is seeking a reliable and proactive individual to assist with summer childcare and household support for our four children (ages between 3 -10). The ideal candidate will manage the children's daytime activities along with household tasks and meal preparation.
Typical Schedule
- Weekdays: Start at 8:30 AM – End generally between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM.
Primary Responsibilities
- Daytime Supervision: Engaging with the children, organizing daily activities, and handling transportation to and from summer camps. (Note: If you have a driver's license, you will have access to the family's vehicle for driving the kids).
- Household Support: Light housework, including tidying play areas, managing laundry, and clearing dishes to keep the home organized.
- Meal Prep: Preparing afternoon snacks and dinner preparations.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience caring for multiple children simultaneously is preferred.
- Reliability: Consistent punctuality is essential.
- Location: Ideal for those living or studying near the University of Alberta or the Whyte Avenue area.
- Proactive Approach: Ability to manage household tasks independently and keep the house running smoothly.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
