Southwest Design & Construction Ltd. is looking to hire a project coordinator/estimator to join our team. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management and/or construction project administration is preferred. Must be highly motivated, organized, good at multi-tasking and be an excellent communicator.
Job description:
1.Work with construction manager and project managers to carry out tasks as required
2.Tasks include but are not limited to:
a. Assistance with estimating
b. Assistance with tendering bids
c. Attend work site visits as required
d. Work with project managers and construction manager for coordination of projects as required
i. Estimating for change orders
ii. Shop drawing review and submittals
iii. Other submittals as project requires
iv. Develop and track schedules with site superintendents
v. Assist with development and tracking of project budgets
3. Continued relationship development with sub trades and suppliers
4. Become familiar with and comply to SWDC company policies and procedures
5. Comply with company safety policies on sites and assist with paperwork as required
6. Other duties as assigned
