Summary of Position:
In this role, the Project Manager will lead the execution of complex commercial projects involving custom glazing systems and building envelope solutions. They will coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Through strong technical understanding, communication, and proactive problem-solving, the Project Manager will drive project success from planning through installation and closeout.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting and coordination of custom commercial projects.
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors and consultants and internal teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
o Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to develop project scopes and timelines.
o Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, logistics) and external suppliers to meet project milestones.
o Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and communication logs for quality assurance.
o Assist with internal project documentation and fabrication reviews for quality control.
o Coordinate project resources, track timelines, and maintain schedules in line with GC, contractors and trade partners.
o Utilize Salesforce and other project management tools to plan, monitor, and report on progress.
o Attend project meetings and collaborate with external architects, engineers and trades to develop scope and work through issues as they arise.
o Clearly communicate and delegate specific tasks and timelines internally with team members
o Track project progress, issue and manage RFIs, change orders, and technical submittals to mitigate risks and delays.
o Ensure accurate costing for materials, labour, services and equipment
o Coordinate shop drawings, procurement, fabrication and shipping logistics.
Job Requirements:
o 1+ year of Project Management experience (or 3+ years in Project Coordination) within manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or industrial environments; glazing or building envelope experience preferred
o Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
o Experience delivering projects involving structural or specialty glass systems
o Solid understanding of scheduling, budgeting, change orders, and project financials
o Proven ability to manage multiple projects across engineering, production, and logistics
o Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities
o Detail-oriented with a commitment to SOPs, QA/QC standards, and risk mitigation
o Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
o Background working with engineering or drafting teams
o Basic AutoCAD experience

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Project coordination: 3 years (preferred)
- Manufacturing in Contruction Industry: 2 years (preferred)
