Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman/woman to oversee roofing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising roofing crews, ensuring project quality, adhering to safety standards, and managing project timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in roofing and construction management, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. The Roofing Foreman/woman will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality roofing solutions while maintaining efficiency and safety on-site.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews to ensure timely and efficient project completion
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site, including safety compliance and quality control
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 f
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure materials and resources are available as needed
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress to meet project specifications and deadlines
- Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and maintain high standards of workmanship
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in roofing or general construction projects
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and quality control processes in a construction setting
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to roofing and construction sites
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
