The Municipality of the County of Victoria is hiring an Executive Assistant on a two (2) month term, based out of the Municipal Building in Baddeck, to cover a leave of absence.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Municipal Council and senior staff by scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, drafting correspondence, maintaining records/filing systems and managing the by-law and policy administrative processes.
- Term: Full-time; term; non-unionized
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Rate: $23.82 – $30.81 per hour plus vacation pay
Qualifications:
- At least five (5) years administrative/clerical support experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience in municipal environment is considered an asset
- Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 driver’s license is considered an asset
