QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s, PharmD or Masters degree in pharmacy
· Current active pharmacist license with Ontario College of Pharmacists, Part A of the Register
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy practice is an asset
· Injection certified and eager to embrace all aspects of the pharmacist's full scope of Practice
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent Problem-Solving skills and Demonstrated initiative
· Proven good attendance record
· Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment
· Compounding experience and Knowledge is an asset
QUALIFICATION PREFERRED:
· McKesson Pharmaclik experience preferred
· Good knowledge of Kroll Paperless Software
- Knowledge of hindi/punjabi is an asset but not mandatory
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides medication dispensing and consultation services
· Collaborate with family physicians and /or other health care professionals directly or by fax or phone to optimize patient care
· Provide drug management expertise to assist the patient in reaching their health goals
· Work with Pharmacy Manager and Clinic Management team to develop and deliver Programs and services
· Be an active member of the interdisciplinary team to grow pharmacy service
· Actively participate in all clinical and business initiatives, including Medscheck, common ailment prescribing and vaccinations. Collaborate with our Registered Technician in the preparation of basic level A compounds.
