Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled person to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a variety of building projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your carpentry, framing, eavestrough, concrete finishing, and heavy equipment operation skills while working on impactful projects that make a difference in communities.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures using concrete forming techniques, siding, framing, and other carpentry skills.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks with precision to ensure smooth surfaces and durable results.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces.
- Assist with interior finishing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Journeyman Carpenter or apprentice.
- Proven construction experience with a focus on carpentry, concrete work, or related trades..
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects.
- Ability to operate power tools and woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of siding installation and general construction safety practices.
- Prior experience in heavy lifting and the use of hand tools is essential for success in this role.
- Strong work ethic combined with excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
