Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthodontic Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, preform orthodontic procedures, and support the overall functioning of our orthodontic practice. Responsibilities
- Preform orthodontic procedures, including bracket placements and adjustments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques related to braces and other orthodontic appliances
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using Ortho 2 or similar dental software
- Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and materials
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns in a friendly manner
- Support pediatric patients with age-appropriate care and communication when necessary
- Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
- Knowledge of Orthodontics procedures and terminology is highly desirable
- Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
- Previous experience, especially within orthodontics or pediatrics, is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail

This position will be for Thursdays and Fridays 9-5
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
