Job Specifications:
- Support daily activities related to Quality: Verification of In-Process checks, scrap reporting, creating / issuing Quality Alerts (when required), Hold Area – blocking parts in SAP/ inspection of suspect parts.
- Calibration of gauges according to schedule: In-house calibration of hand-held gauges & indicators, supporting with sending fixtures / gauges off-site according to schedule (communication with supplier, gathering information for each fixture to send with the gauges, creating PO in EasyBuy).
- Maintaining / repairing gauges, as required
- Support with CMM, GageMax & Contura.
- Support in completing layered process audits: Using Certainty software.
- Support with 5S activities in production.
- Involvement in process change procedure (ensure that the process is quality driven and follows IATF 16949 specifications
- Involvement in the continuous improvement of quality standards and procedures.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year Production experience preferred
- CMM experience preferred
- GageMax experience preferred
- Contura experience preferred
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Shift work may be required
Rate of Pay: As per the established wage grid, the current starting rate of pay for a Quality Technician is $28.96/hour.
