TPI Machine Ltd is a ISO 9001 CNC Production Machine Shop located in South Edmonton. We are a growing business looking to add to our qualified CNC Programmer/ Operator staff.
Job Description
Permanent full-time CNC Programmer/Operator for day/afternoon shift.
Responsibilities
- Program and Set-up CNC machines with a strong emphasis on Mazatrol programming.
- Study and interpret drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
- Preform first off inspections when required by co-workers.
- Communicate with Production, Quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining, production or quality issues
- Within the scope of the job requirements, required to adhere to and comply with the Company Quality program and procedures, Company policies and Health and Safety policies/regulations
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience programming/ operating CNC machines, preferably Mazatrol
- Ability to read and understand blue print drawings, and experience using measuring tools
- Experience in Wellhead, Completition, Downhole Pumps, Drilling tools an asset
- Experience cutting various types of threads (Acme, EUE & API)
- Must be a quick learner, and have strong attention to detail
- Must be a strong team player, and have great communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
