Spillett Security is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Security Guards to provide overnight hotel security services near Canmore, Alberta.
Shifts are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Full-time positions follow a five-days-on, two-days-off schedule.
These positions have proven to be an excellent stepping stone into law enforcement while allowing you to enjoy the mountain lifestyle — working nights and keeping your days free to enjoy the outdoors, recreation, and local arts and culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Foot and mobile patrols of hotels, staff accommodations, and apartment/condo buildings
- Responding to disturbances and security-related incidents
- Emergency response, including fire and medical situations
- Report writing
- Manning security desks and assisting guests/staff as required
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Security Services Worker License
- Valid First Aid certification
- Valid Drivers' License
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hospitality and customer service experience considered an asset
- Police Sciences or Criminology education considered an asset
On-the-job training will be provided.
Start Date: Mid-June 2026
Please note: Housing is NOT available for these positions.
Pay: $19.37-$21.91 per hour
