Job description
We are currently recruiting a Temporary Vacation CoveragePersonal Support Workers to assist a female employer, with SMA type 2 and Osteoporosis, in all activities of daily living.
Coverage date:
- July 24 and July 27-31, 2026
Location:
- Vancouver (near Seaforth Peace Park)
Shifts & Hours of Work:
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Personal care including daily shower, personal hygiene, dressing
- Assist with Toileting (physical transfer and peri-care 4 times a day)
- Meal Preparation
- Laundry and Light Housekeeping
- Medication Administration assistance
- Transfers using sit to stand
- Possible trips to the swimming pool or physio therapy
Required Qualifications:
- Caregiving experience is an asset
- Physically fit
- Experience with a Sit to Stand lift is an asset
- Must be fully vaccinated (including boosters)
- Comfortable working in an environment with service dog
